AND finally, we are very grateful to Paul Boden who was walking along Low Row outside Darlington Covered Market a week ago and noticed that building work had uncovered a large culvert which ran beneath the market.It appears to date from the early 1860s when the market was built on the site of the 1808 Italianate town hall which features elsewhere in Memories today.These culverts are probably the
