This elevated view of St John s Church, Harleston, was concealed by two ancient lime trees in Broad Street, known as the Harleston Twins , until they were felled. They stood on the edge of the highway in front of a centuries-old hosue facing the church. It was from an attic window of the house that this picture was taken. Believed to be August 1963.
