Passengers in Bolton were complaining about the state of their local buses in 1973 They had contacted the Bolton Evening News about dirty buses which, they claimed, were so filthy that passengers could not see out of the windows. Bus operators Selnec in turn blamed the state of the town's roads and the winter weather. This photo shows the bus company's bus washing bay at the depot on Breightmet
