Description
Moss Bank Park was clearly the place to go during the summer of 1943. Hundreds of people enjoyed the sunshine with the Bolton Evening News reporting that the children's sandpit and surrounding grasslands looked like Blackpool beach. The house you can see was built in the 1780s but would be demolished shortly after the end of the Second World War 513710965-newport BNE_13/06/2024_25_Lead Moss Ban
