These pupils at St Gregory's RC Primary School in Farnworth in March 1989 had plenty to say for themselves. They raised £282 from a sponsored anagram word game and colouring exercise. Proceeds went to the Royal Institute for the Blind.Pictured receiving a certificate from Sid Pritchard, North Region Area Appeals Organiser, are head boy Jason Turner and head girl Lorna Shaw, both aged 11.
