THREE workmen on a Bolton building site discovered some 'news' in a century-old bottle.They were about to start laying the foundation stone for a car showroom for Deane Motors on land off Tonge Moor Road, which was once the site of a Methodist church, built in 1887. They found that the demolition gang had left one stone unturned. And underneath it they found the "message 454310366-newport BNE_1
