Taken in July 1964 this phoitograph was taken on the day whe two-way traffic first flowed along Church Street. The new road layout was part of major redevelopment in the town centre which would last throughout the Sixties. Railway Road was off to the left leading to the Boulevard with the WHite Bull on the corner. Further uo Church Street on the left you can just make out the sign for Boots which
