This rather grim looking building was the last thing poorly pupils would want to see in Burnley in the 1960s. Situated in Elizabeth Street, it was home to the school clinic where vaccinations were carried out. It was also home to 'Nitty Nora' as the nurse who helped families deal with head lice was based.
