In May 1966 when this picture was taken work was well underway to build a new clubhouse for Rossendale Sailing Club. A slipway had been created and workmen were paving the area around the wooden structure at Clowbridge reservoir. Rossendale Valley Sailing Club as it is now known is still based at Clowbridge although the clubhouse has been replaced 547050714-let LTE_09/10/2024_25_Lead Rossendale
