lightships & light vessels. Pictured: Dowsing light vessel refit. date: 21 aug 1969 7 In dry dock at Lowestoft the Dowsing light vessel undergoes her three-yearly refit in August, 1969. The work was being done by Richards shipyard and when completed the vessel was due to return to her station some 35 miles off the North Norfolk coast.
