Description
The Prunier Trophy, awarded to the boat recording the biggest catch of fish, was in 1950 won by the Yarmouth drifter Wydale, skippered by Mr Alfred Brown. The Wydale brought in a catch of 250¼ crans, having handed over nets containing a further 60 crans to another Yarmouth drifter. In our picture Mr Reggie Comerford, Port Fishery Officer, congratulates Mr Brown as the crew look on. Bernard Sheppar
