Description
Artist Alison Watt beside the 5. 6 m x 4. 2 m tapestry which replicates her painting Butterfly created by Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh under the stewardship of master weaver Naomi Robertson. The Butterfly tapestry was commissioned by Scottish Opera and will be hanged in the Theatre Royal in Glasgow at a later date. Watt attended Dovecot studios to witness the cutting off ceremony.
