Argus Looking Back Series - Yesterdays LB-4577 This is Anne Shelton, one of the female singers whose tender tones kept the troops tapping their toes and smiling through as that nasty Mr Hitler waged war and dropped bombs right across Europe. Ms Shelton’s songs included I’ll Be Seeing You, and she was the first British singer to record Lili Marlene. She lived in Herstmonceux, East Sussex circa 1940
