Leiper Gallery opening 117 West George Street as a gallery again after 82 years. Originally Designed by William Leiper architect of Templeton Carpet Factory as a gallery for Alexander Reid, best friend of Van Gogh and man who sold all the impressionist paintings to big business men of day including Burrell and Tate of Tate & Lyle. Opened in 1904 and Reid ran it until he retired in 1925.
