An empty chair with the gown of Mordechai Vanunu, the new and absent rector of the University of Glasgow. Vanunu was installed as Rector today, Friday but was unable to attend the ceremony in Bute Hall as he is not allowed to leave Israel, so an empty seat with his gown was in his place.
