A tremendous photo from 1957 showing part of Churchgate in BOlton. The large white building is the Capital Cinema. The cinema - which was renamed the ABC in 1962 - closed in 1977 and was demolished in January 1988. SMong the shops ou can see is Booth's Music which is still operating today, albeit from a different location further along Churchgate. Next door to Booth's is the Golden Lion pub, now
