Here's a relatively early photo showing two pubs i the ctnre of Burnley - the White Lion and the Boot Inn. The photographer was on St James Street with Parker Lane running off to the right. EVen though the werre effectively next to each other, both pubs were Daniel Thwaites pubs at the time. Both have undergone substantial remodeeling over the years with neither boasting the ornate curved frontag
