Description
CHurch bells which had remained silent for more than a year were brought back to life in May 1988. Members of the Lancashire Association of Church Bellringers held their annual meeting in Bolton and visited All Souls at Astley Bridge, home to the second heaviest set of bells in Lancashire. The church had been closed since March the previous year but was opened up for an hour-long ringing session
