A LINE-UP of Ayrshires from which the champion would have been chosen from in1953, when the Highland was held at Alloa. It must have been a grand sight in front of the judge, Allan Barr, of Hobsland, Monkton, who had 161 entries to choose from. In the end, it was a cow from J Drennan and Son, Flatterton, that became champion
