This unusual view of Blackburn town centre gives us a great view over the main shopping centre. We think the photo dates to around 1981. The new town hall towerblock stands in the foreground with the rooftop car parking at the shopping centre clearly visible. Church Street runs from left to right towards the top of the picture with the three 'Pavilions' buildings in front of the cathedral grounds
