THIS photograph dates back to 1952.It features Farnworth war orphan children who were enjoying a free ride on a roundabout at Farnworth fair.The entertainment was arranged by Mr W Williams, from the Farnworth Amusement Centre and and the Farnworth Missing and War Relatives' Club.There appears to be a large number of children on the picture which is a sad reflection of how many youngsters lost fam
