A gardener tends to the grounds of Bradshaw Hall, Bolton, in January 1937. The hall, which dated back to the Seventeenth Century is one of BOlton's 'lost' mansion houses. Originally home to the BRadshaw family, it later was occupied by the Hardcastle family who created the Bradshaw Bleaching and Dyeworks.
