Photo Jamie Simpson. Yorkhill Week: Eva Younger, aged 1, East Kilbride Eva was diagnosed with truncus arteriosus when she was born in Yorkhill in May 2010. She had to undergo numerous operations including 8 hour open heart surgery at only 4 weeks old. Eva made a miraculous recovery and was discharged only 11 days after her operation.
