THESE ladies were all smiles at the mill.This photo shows Mr A V Symons, centre left, who opened the new plant at Greenhalgh and Shaw Limited at Halliwell Mill in Bolton and Mr W Roberts who was secretary of Bolton Cardroom Association, with employees who worked on the new machinery.These would be exciting times for the workers who can be seen wearing their aprons and big smiles as they celebrate
