THIS photo was taken in 1955 when Bolton had lots of mills.It shows the opening of the new plant at Greenhalgh and Shaw Limited at Halliwell Mill in Bolton and Mr W Roberts who was secretary of Bolton Cardroom Association, with employees who worked on the new machinery.These would be exciting times for the workers who can be seen wearing their aprons and big smiles as they celebrate this event.Th
