Here is a great photograph of how we used to live in Bolton in years gone by.It was taken in 1955 and shows a group of children having fun on a rocking horse in Haslam Park.They were simple pleasures but much enjoyed by youngsters all over the town. You did not have the spongey safety flooring that there is today and there would be many an accident on a swing or seesaw.Here we see from left John
