GEORGE BOWMAN A study of George Bowman, former World Carriage Driving Champion who is seen in his tack room at Penrith in 1980. Nineteen times British National Champion, he has compted in every World Driving Championship since 1972, often meeting up with his friend and rival the Duke of Edinburgh. He drives a team of Cumberland Cob, and can be seen locally each year at the Lowther Horse Trial
