Description
PABest..Conservator Lucy Ackland adds the finishing touches to the memorial to Charlotte, Emily and Anne Bronte at Poets' Corner in Westminster Abbey in London. The stone tablet was installed on October 9 1939, and has been missing the dots (diaeresis) over the Es for 85 years. After receiving a request earlier this year from the Bront Society the Abbey has arranged for them to finally be added.
