Broomhill Pool, Ipswich was always a popular place on warm summer’s days. Crowds would queue for hours waiting for a place in this popular lido. The pool opened on April 30 1938. It has been closed for several years as campaigners fight to save the facility. This picture was taken inAugust 1965.
