Description
On the 14th September 1989, police officers took over the role of teacher for a day at Bitterne Park School in an effort to make friends with youngsters in the area. More than 100 officers had visited seven schools in the area in the months leading up to this point and it was hoped that more schools would join the scheme that helped to forge bonds between the police and schools.
