Argus Looking Back Series LB-4511 This is Jessie Matthews. Popular star of stage, screen and radio. She was Mrs Dale in Mrs Dale’s Diary, a long running radio soap. Her theme song was Over My Shoulder from the show Ever Green. She also was the first person to record Cole Porter’s song Let’s Do It and many of Noel Cowards songs. She was very big in her day.
