John Howie sold this Balbinny Streamline-sired ram lamb at lanark in 1940 for £130 to Captain RS Forrest, Thornholme, Carluke. The sale that day resulted in an average of 212 6s 11d for 283 lambs. It was reportedly a great day with a high demand for rams .
