This was a regular occurance on Weymouth Quay when the Channel Island boat train came through. There was always an iInconsiderate motorist who would park on the railway lines. I remember assisting to shift a car on one occasion and placing it between two stanchions that left about half an inch gap at each end -- I never did find out how the owner managed to extract his car from that.. 588657865-
