Occupations - Traditional Crafts Mr. A. H. Thirtle, signwriter for Messrs. Bullards, did considerable research into the lore of the Green Man before painting this new sign for Rackheath Green Man. He obtained some information from the bosses on Norwich Cathedral. It took him nearly three weeks to complete the new sign. Dated April 1953 Photograph C10510
